About Wiltshire DC (Development Centre)
Welcome to the DC (Development Centre) pages of the Wiltshire Hockey Association. The DC is the first step on the Wiltshire County Player Pathway after club and school hockey.
DC’s are for committed and enthusiastic players who want to take their hockey to the next level. It is not for beginners. Players nominated by their club or school to the DC, should have a better than average grasp of the core skills.
Following DC’s, coaches will select those players who the feel are ready, for the Wiltshire AC (Academy Centre – Wiltshire County) selections.
We aim to provide written feedback for those players NOT selected for AC. For those who are selected we will continue to work with you to understand your goals for your short and long term, as well as providing on the pitch and in the moment feedback and coaching.

Age groups for all Wiltshire Player Pathway activity is run along academic years.

Other participation criteria:
- Players must live or go to school in Wiltshire or be members at a Wiltshire affiliated club.
- Players can be nominated to more than 1 county but can only participate in the DC of one of them.
