Our Vision
A growing hockey community united in providing access to safe, challenging and engaging experiences for all.
Our Mission
Wiltshire Hockey leads hockey development throughout the County, delivered through effective listening, planning, communication, training and use of resources.
About Wiltshire Hockey
Wiltshire County Hockey Association was formed in 1902 when a number of the County’s clubs came together at the Bath Hotel in Melksham. At that time, the Association was a Men’s Association, but since then, the Women’s and Men’s Sections have merged and all Wiltshire clubs affiliate and are members of the Association.
Our Constitution sets out our aims and objectives, the most important of which is to promote and encourage all hockey for adults and young people in clubs and schools. We run a very successful junior development programme for young people playing hockey at clubs and schools and many of these players go on to represent Wiltshire. We are a member of the West Hockey Association and work with England Hockey in facilitating the playing of hockey within our county.
Business is carried out at quarterly meetings by a volunteer Executive Committee elected at the Annual General Meeting. This meeting as well as the quarterly meeting are open to all clubs to attend. All the Minutes of the meetings can be accessed by anyone via request.
